The roundabout is dangerous and there is not enough variety to stimulate the children a lot of parks nowadays have sandpits hove park and hampden park eastbourne are great examples
It's a big enough space .. Why not have 2 halfs like malling park .. One for younger kids and one for older with a picnic area . Would attract all ages then.
This is a large village , playground is well.used but could do with.an update, people will travel to.a really good playground so could bring more businsess to local shops
For stimulation and variety for the children and to bring new custom to the village
Children will be more occupied
Even very small villages such as Laughton and Isfield have better play areas than Ringmer has. Is also desperately needs some shade.
Ringmer is a growing community, with young families. We want to encourage people into the village to use the local amenities/shops/swimming pool. Development of children's physical needs and social needs when creating friendships and meeting new children. Two areas of play area would be great younger and older, also a zip wire like Malling in Lewes for the older children.
The isn't a huge deal of free things for parents to do with their children in ringmer, having previously lived in lewes with plenty of great parks right on the door step it would be great great to get ringmer one main park improved for local residents. We still have to drive to other local parks for better play equiptment which is far from ideal for the environment.
