Start a dialogue on Abortion. Malta has the most antiquated laws in the world on Abortion. It is time to start considering the possibility of Abortion locally for women who are in danger of losing their lives because of pregnancy or in the case of rape or incest. This is supported by Human Rights groups like Amnesty International.

A human baby is human. We are here because our mothers did not abort us. Encourage adoption as a solution instead. There are many couples willing to adopt.

Women who need abortions are getting them abroad in secret and possibly in unsafe environments. Legalising abortion would remove the need to get the procedure done in an unsafe environment.
It is not entirely clear when human life starts. In fact both egg and sperm are very much alive prior to conception. Every stem cell in my body is a potential human being. Shall we protect them all? Where does it end? So let us not be so dogmatic in the face of EXTREME situations like rape and child pregnancies. Be humane and not just human!
