I would like to propose whether is it possible that instead a lump sum is given as a subsidy for families to install PVs at their residence (eg €3,000) the whole cost of the system is given by the govt and a subsidy is given on interest. Should the amount of rebate on interest is less than €3000, the difference would be given to the family. I am suggesting this to increase the number of applicants for families which still have financial constraints to fork out the difference.
It makes a lot of sense as more people would apply for this scheme and there would be less demand to produce electricity from the power station, since we would be producing ours free from the sun.
