Something has to be done for the number of persons with learning difficulties
At MCH there are a number of persons with learning difficulties residing in this psychiatric institution. Presently I am retired, but I was employed at MCH for more than 40 years, finishing as a nursing manager. Over the years these persons became totally dependent on the nursing staff. A number of initiatives were commenced to help integrate these people into the community, but due to lack of finances nothing ever came out. I do hope that eventually something is done.
